Nafplio is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities in the Peloponnese and throughout Greece. It is located 140 kilometers southwest of Athens in the Peloponnese. It was the first capital of the Greek state after the liberation (from 1823 to 1834) while according to mythology it was built by Nafplio, son of Poseidon and Danaida Animonis.

Start
We should start our tour 9:00 a.m., because of the distance that we should cover during the day tour. This way we will have the time to visit all our destinations.
1st Stop Isthmus of Corinth - Ancient City of Corinth
Our first stop will be about 50 minutes and specifically in the Isthmus where we will see the impressive bridge and then we will head to the ancient city of Corinth very close to the Isthmus where we will admire the city inhabited from the Neolithic years 5000-3000 BC. .Χ. and in ancient times it was the richest city in Greece. There we will admire the temple of Apollo, the Pyrenean Fountain and many finds kept in the archaeological museum.
2nd Stop Mycenae
Next stop will be in Mycenae where in 2000 BC. was one of the greatest centers of Greek culture. There we will see the tomb of Agamemnon, the Cyclopean walls, the gate of the Lions and many other finds.
3rd Stop Nafplio
The next stop will be in the enchanting Nafplio where we will have the opportunity to enjoy coffee, a walk in the picturesque alleys of the city and lunch in a traditional Greek tavern. We will also visit Palamidi the beautiful castle with the magnificent goddess and we will enjoy the bourtzi the small castle located in the sea.
4th Stop Acropolis - Epidavros
Our last visit will be to Epidaurus where we will visit the ancient theater of Epidaurus and see up close its superior acoustics.

Day trip to Delphi

Delphi, on Mount Parnassos, in Central Greece, was considered the center of the universe by the ancient world and was therefore called the navel of the earth. There was the most important oracle of the ancient Greek world, whose fame far exceeded the borders of Greece. The oracle of Delphi was dedicated to the god Apollo and Pythia, the respective Priestess, had the role of intermediary to convey the oracle to those interested / visitors. At the site of the oracle of Delphi, there was a prehistoric sanctuary dedicated to Gaia, the Great Mother.

1st Stop Livadia
Livadia is the capital of the prefecture of Viotia. It is built at an altitude of 200 meters, in the western part of the prefecture. It is surrounded by mountains with Parnassos to the north of the city and Elikonas to the south, at the foot of which the old town of Livadia was built.

It is a special city, with pure Greek characteristics, whose history and myths have become a source of inspiration for poets, painters and sculptors of all ages.

2nd Stop Delphi
Then we will head to the archeological site of Delphi in an imposing natural landscape where there is the famous oracle of Greece where Pythia gave its oracles. There we will visit the temple of Apollo, the treasure of the Athenians, the Castalia spring, the ancient high school, the ancient theater and the archeological museum.
3d Stop Arachova
Then we will visit Arachova, one of the most picturesque villages in the countryside, where we will enjoy our coffee and lunch in the traditional alleys of the village.
4th Stop Monastery of Saint Luke
On the way back we can visit the monastery of Saint Luke if one of the most important monuments of mid-Byzantine art and architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Then we take the road back to the hotel or to the point you indicate.

Our first stop will be about 30 minutes and specifically in the Isthmus where we will see the impressive bridge.
2nd Stop Levidi
Then we will head to Arcadia where in about 90 minutes we will meet Levidi the first village of our excursion to dine in one of the best traditional Greek taverns in the area.
3rd Stop Vytina
Our next stop will be in Vytina just 15-20 minutes from Levidi.
Built at a height of 1033 meters on Mount Mainalo in an area dominated by pines, firs and chestnuts. There we will walk on the “Road of Love” which is made between fragrant maples and plane trees. on this wonderful route.
We will also walk in the picturesque and stone alleys of the area where you will be able to discover the local and pure products of the area.
4th Stop Dimitsana
Then we will head to Dimitsana and Stemnitsa, two villages located 20 and 25 minutes respectively after Vytina.
In Dimitsana will be our first stop, where we will admire one of the most important villages in the area where the stone houses and the magnificent goddess will fascinate you.
Here we will admire the monastery of the philosopher as well as the gorge of the lush river. You will enjoy your coffee enjoying the incredible goddess that this unique place offers you.
5th Stop Stemnitsa
Then we will head to the traditional village of Stemnitsa. A village that CNN has included in the 10 most beautiful villages in Europe. Our last stop will be in the village of Lagadia which is located about 25 minutes from Stemnitsa.
It is built on a steep mountain slope and for this reason it is characterized as the hanging village! The view you enjoy as soon as you enter the village is something that will fascinate you. A walk is enough to find out why it is characterized as if a village of wild beauty.
